At Devonshire, we believe that every English Setter deserves the best; the best home possible, the best family and the best of health.

To that end we screen prospective puppy owners very carefully and we also ensure that our breeding program produces puppies of the quality which attracted us to the breed in the first place.

We breed for structure, soundness, health and temperament. All of our dogs are members of our family. They are whelped, lap raised and live in our home sharing the every day activities of our family members and all the older dogs.
